Brandon has a multi-disciplinary past having completed a master's in chemistry (corrosion and tribocorrosion) and a PhD in metallurgical and materials engineering (additive manufacturing). He later went on to do commodity forecasting and a postdoctoral in battery science thereafter. Currently, he is employed as a Lead Scientist in Energy Storage and has a key focus on battery technology (lead and lithium) including characterization and testing, laser manufacturing and electric vehicles.
